Data source & citation

AI readiness data is drawn from the Government AI Readiness Index 2025 published by Oxford Insights. The index assesses how prepared national governments are to implement AI-powered public services, covering 193 countries across three pillars and nine sub-pillars.

Country group memberships (UN M49 regions, World Bank income groups, UN SDG groups, OECD DAC groups, WB FCS status) are sourced from the Country Classification Commons library and joined to the index by ISO3 code.
